As an employee I want to enter my times in the /tracking view. The view is currently showing one column per day in a week. I would like to have the opportunity to switch to a monthly overview which displays all tracked activities in a simple grid, e.g. a calendar view. Currently, future planned billable amounts are only viewable when the Date Range filter is set to All Time. The planned amounts are not available on a monthly basis.It should be possible to see the planned billable amount for certain time frames within the project board.

We propose the addition of a feature that allows users to seamlessly integrate personal work time tracking with project-specific time tracking within CoffeeCup. By incorporating this feature, CoffeeCup will not only empower users to effectively manage their work time but also ensure alignment with the specific requirements outlined in German work time tracking laws. This proactive approach to compliance will contribute to a smoother and legally sound work time tracking experience for users in Germany.

Situation: Once a day is submitted, users can no longer make adjustments to their day, unless a PM rejects individual time entries. Users cannot currently add new time entries from different projects, or edit time entries that have not yet been rejected. This leads to user friction.We are evaluating ideas to improve the flexibility of employees while maintaining the idea that submitting a day should be “final” to ensure high quality of time tracking.Some of our ideas include:<ul><li>Complete unlocking of the day the user (with submission score penalty)</li><li>Unlocking of the day by a PM or HR supervisor</li><li>Ability to add additional time entries without needing to unsubmit the current day (potentially with scoring penalty)</li></ul>

When multiple CoffeeCup projects are associated with a Jira project or a Jira Label, and the Jira plugin is opened on an issue page, the Plugin selects the first eligible match from the list of projects, rather than prioritizing the matches based on their specificity.The expectation from a user perspective is that the more specific matches, like the label matching method, should be prioritized above the project-level matching or entire Jira instance matching. It should be possible to plan a total amount of hours instead of hours per day/ week for each user. The amount of hours planned for each day/ week should then be evenly populated across all the planning period.

Settings in the billing modal should be maintained over time when invoicing. So users don't have to make the same adjustments over and over again for each invoice.

Subprojects are not currently duplicated as expected. Subprojects should be duplicated as subprojects within the parent project, not as normal projects as is currently the case. Tags and custom field values should also be duplicated.

Project managers see in the time entry the remaining budget in % and in EURO. Is it possible to have the remaining budget in percentages and in hours instead? (as for users).

When a time entry has been rejected, the expectation is that the user should make the adjustments requested by the reviewer.We have a workflow to make the adjustments (and add a comment if desired) via the "Resolve Issues" link: <img src="https://fb-usercontent.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/1707992478119..png">However, if a user clicks on the time entry in the UI instead, they are presented with the normal "Edit Time Entry" modal and do not have immediate access to the comment via the reviewer, and re-submitting the entry takes an extra step.One solution to this inconsistent UI experience is to open the Rejection modal when a rejected time entry is clicked, rather than the Edit modal. The Rejection modal should also be revised to have additional action buttons, so that the entry can be Updated or Updated and Resubmitted depending on the intention of the user. There is also not a way to add a comment to the entry without re-submitting the time entry.

It would be great if it were possible to reopen days that have already been submitted as “completed,” as long as the hours have not yet been approved by any PM. Background: Sometimes a small request comes in just before the end of the day, or something that was forgotten to be logged earlier comes to mind.

For some clients, especially in the maintenance area, we have many detailed subprojects, which makes planning very tedious. For example, someone is planned for 10 hours on a client, but it's not yet clear to which sub-budget the time will be allocated, as the tickets still need to be created or come from the client.Therefore, it would be great if planning could also be done at the super-project level. Ideally, when entering time, the user would then be shown all subprojects available for booking.

In the time tracking UI, the planning pills are visible in the upper area, with a colored line for each project I am scheduled on. Currently, all the pills are the same size. It would be nice if the pills were larger or smaller based on the planned hours. It would also be great if both the planned and already booked hours were directly visible (without having to hover over them first).

On the My Statistics / Personal Record page, it would be helpful to display all time categories—project time, work time, and absences—at a glance. Currently, you can only view one at a time. Being able to see all categories without extra clicks would streamline workflows and improve control.

We have the situation where, on the one hand, the PMs approve the time entries, which they do in the “Times / Project Time Review” view. However, there are also team leads who check the times logged by their team members to ensure that the correct project was tracked. It would be helpful for the team leads to filter by their own team or to have an alternative view, grouped by team members instead of by projects.
